One of the security measures on our Linux cPanel servers is that if the server sees a lot of suspicious requests from a certain IP address, it will likely block the IP address from the server.
This could be due to multiple incorrect logins to cPanel, it could be due to a typo in a email password, lots of different things.
If you get blocked, you can contact the team who will be able to help you understand why and prevent in the future.
If you want to get yourself unblocked for now, you can do it yourself by following the below instructions:
1. Login to https://billing.catalyst2.com
2. Go to “My Services”
3. Then click on the “Unban Your IP Address”
4. Then click on “Unban”.
You will notice there is a “Check IP” button as well. This will explain the reason why you are blocked in geek speak so if you don’t know what it means, feel free to contact the team who can help you out.
