At catalyst2, we’re proud to support the local and global community when it comes to the companies we work with. That’s why FareShare choosing to work with us was such a fantastic honour. As a company that we respect and wholeheartedly support, we were happy to hear that our services could be an invaluable part of what this organisation can offer to people in need.

Why FareShare?

With the current state of the world, there’s never been more need for friendly, supportive and active charitable services to support those that need it most. That’s exactly what FareShare does, acting as a professional network for food redistributors across the UK. Their service, and the function of the charities that work with them, enable families to have enough food to thrive even in the most difficult of times.

Through their network of almost 11,000 charities and community support groups, FareShare distributes food to the most vulnerable people in every corner of the UK. That means homeless shelters, lunch clubs and even children’s school breakfast clubs. With the current pandemic status and these at-risk people being forced to stay inside, their mission to support people who need it most is even more critical.

With the support of suppliers like ourselves and the generosity of their donors, FareShare supports thousands of people to ensure they have the food they need each day. By tackling food waste and fighting hunger, FareShare is acting as a much-needed resource for those that can’t get out to the supermarket during the lockdown, or who aren’t getting the support they’d typically have received before isolation.

We’re proud to have at least a small degree of involvement in supporting a fantastic charity service like FareShare, and that’s why we’re so keen to promote this excellent organisation on our own platform.
